Since 1987 Steve Wronker of Steve Wronker's Funny Business has been know throughout New England and the New York tri-state area as one of the top family entertainers around. With any of the SWFB shows, whether it was a magic show, hypnosis show or an educational assembly program, you could rest assured you received quality entertainment and education. Steve took a few years hiatus from performing school shows to concentrate on his highly acclaimed family hypnosis shows. But he's back with a renewed sense of excitement. Over the last couple of years, Steve has been scripting and rehearsing his new set of elementary school assembly programs. These shows will be ready for the 2010-2011 elementary school year. These shows will be heavy on message using magic, storytelling, music, laughter and audience participation. A seasoned professional, with many years of rave reviews from all his shows, Steve is ready once again to bring his brand and style of learning and education to a whole new generation of students.

Steve Wronker presents these exciting programs for your students:

and coming soon... "Imagination... It's All In Your Mind!"

These shows are scripted as a K-5th grade assembly program and each program is 45 minutes long. It has been Steve's experience in the past to divide these assemblies into 2 shows; one for grades K-2, the other for grades 3-5. There is some difference in lesson planning between the two age groups, with the higher grades receiving a more direct message. If you prefer to have all the students in one assembly, that will work as well.

For the PTO,  I have an evening program that can be used as a fundraiser or just a night of family fun. This family-friendly comedy magic show is 75 minutes long. There is lots of LPM in this show more than most magic shows. LPM stands for "laughs per minute" and I guarantee you will leave the show holding your sides and your mouth will hurt from smiling so hard. Being that this is a family show, I not only will use the kids as volunteers on stage but don't be surprised if a parent, teacher or even the principal joins me on stage for some fun. This was a letter of recommendation sent to me by a school in Maryland.  "I wanted to send you a letter highlighting the showmanship, educational and entertaining performance of Steve Wronker. While he was in his "stage-mode", I found him to be non-pretentious and not stuffy. His show was imaginative, non-parlor quality and funny but not at the expense of those hypnotized. I have seen more than my share of magicians who go for the cheap laughs and corny jokes to keep the crowds attention; Steve was above all that. When he was off stage, I found Steve to be personable and in tune with our diverse population. He was able to do this because he took the time not only to question me about the nature of the show and the composition of the audience, and he mingled throughout the audience. While he was doing this, he asked the students who they were and what they were about. His genuineness prompted two students, who are into magic, to help them with their sleight-of-hand magic techniques. The real topper was his flexibility when we both discovered a discrepancy between what he expected sound system wise and what was listed on the contract. His tone and demeanor never changed and he worked with what was provided and still gave a top notch show".
